Methods of Dispute v1

Methods of Disputing Properly

It is a matter of time before we have:

 1. Two or more Guild members get into with each other

 2. A member have a dispute with an officer or Guild Leadership direction or decisions

 3. Guild members get into some dispute with members of other guilds

The proper methods to approach these issues and hopefully resolve are as follows:

 1. Member disputes should be handled initially one on one, in separate TeamSpeak channels.  If this doesn't work, then each member should seek a guild officer to act as a council.  These officers will then present the case to the Guild Leadership and a judgement shall be given if members are not able to work out things on their own.

 2. Members that have disputes with officers should follow the steps previously mentioned.  They should then be a part of a Leadership meeting to discuss the grievance.  The Guild Leadership shall make a decision and either move forward or with change, sanction, or verdict or they shall dismiss the grievance if found to be unsubstantiated.  The member with the grievance shall have a vote.

 3. If Guild members get into disputes with gamers from other guilds, they should report the dispute to a Guild Officer.  The Guild Officer shall bring this dispute up to the Guild Leadership.  The Guild Leadership shall send an emissary and message to the outside guild to determine the dispute causes and validity.  The Guild Leadership shall determine which actions shall be taken from that point forward.  This is to avoid unnecessary faction wars (should they be enabled).

NOTE: Guild Leadership votes shall consist of the Chancellors and Guild Officers.  The Chancellor/ Guild Leader will be given (on an as needed instance) additional votes to break deadlocked votes (only).
